<lj:music>Stars - Switchfoot</lj:music>

Hello again Live Journal. Let's see.

Today I had an interview at F.Y.E. for a new job. The manager is actually the district manager. He seems pretty cool. He did a lot of media before he did media retail. Worked in films with actors like Johnny Depp and stuff. I think (hope) I got the job.

Before that though I had rehearsal for the play. I've done crew but I haven't been on cast since like 4th grade at the Montgomery play house. I was sorta rejected back then, cuz I was young and weird and they picked on me and they were jerks blah blah blah. I already feel out of place here though. Half because I was sneezing to high hell, but I already feel as though I'm gonna be the outcast again. Ces't La Vie.

I've been doing this music video for my girlfriends youth group at her church. I now hate the song Stars by switchfoot. I now go back to edit it for the umpteenth time.

Ta ta.

We got a new kitten! hee!

His name is ernie and he's part mane-coon. He's mostly white with a black tail, a couple of black spots on the side. A black spot that wraps around his stomach, and one that looks like a pirate eye patch that wraps onto the top of his head and the right side of his face.
"mjjjks" he likes stepping on my keyboard. And he likes to climb up on my shoulder. Right now he's curling up random spots on my bed. He's actually supposed to stay in my brothers room, but the kitten was keeping him up. He also hasn't met my other cat Rum yet, and isn't supposed to for at least another week. Should be interesting.

Also I've been rather hush-hush lately and letting my live journal collect too much dust. It's summer! which is good. July 15-21 I'll be attending Power Chord Academy in New York. A week of rock and jamming, recording, making a music video. It's going to be amazing!

Also for those of you who don't know and couldn't decipher my strange dialect in my last post, I have a new girl friend. Her name is Kate which is sorta weird to me, for any of you lucky enough to know why that would be weird. It's been a long few weeks. That sounds bad, but it's just time has been moving slowly. I've enjoyed it.

Time to sleep.
Sweet dreams.

    <lj:music>Famous Last Words - My Chemical Romance</lj:music>

The concert was amazing. Plain and simple, it was the best thing I've done in a heckuva long time.
I'm going to write about the whole day because I don't want to forget any of it.
The group was Chris H, Kelly H, Justin S, Melanie Y, Aysha, Jenna and we met up with Tiffany B and her boyfriend David.

In the morning I packed a bunch of stuff for the concert. Money, an MCR shirt, tickets, money. I wore my Monty Python "It's just a flesh wound" shirt to school. I ended up never wearing that MCR shirt. When I was coordinating plans with Chris Haller we decided all of us should meet at the Lakeforest mall after school. That way we could all meet up and leave at the same time so we'd be in the same spot in line once we got there. School was normal except Melanie and I were too excited so we left early 7th period to head down to Lakeforest. We missed the Ride-On but she called her dad and we were still able to get there early. We met up with Justin in the food court and wandered the mall for a little bit. Chris had to run home to get his van before he came to the mall, and I didn't have Jenna's or Aysha's number. Justin had a free chicken sandwich coupon to Chick-Fila so he used it and we went looking for a hobo to give it to. Justin said he had seen homeless people around there before and he thought he'd do something nice and give one. As we were walking around outside, we heard jingles. It was the ice-cream truck! So we made mad dash all the way across the parking lot to the shopping center with Funcoland and Wendy's. There's some learning center right there and as we got in line for the ice-cream a woman who I think worked for the center came out and said to the Ice-cream vendor "I'm buying one ice-cream of their choice for all these kids." So we profusely thanked her several times. It's been years since I have had ice-cream truck ice-cream/ I got Spiderman with the gumball eyes. Justin got Spongebob, which tasted tried to taste like banana. Melanie got Snoopy which promptly melted off the popsicle stick. We traded funny stories and headed up towards Borders Books side and went to CVS to pick up a disposable camera. By the time we got back to the mall it was 3:30 and we finally met up with Chris, Aysha and Jenna. Kelly came from home just in time. We all got out of there by 4:00.

On the car ride up we listened to Melanie's mix CD. It had MCR, AFI and Muse. We had a iPod>cassette converter but it was making a loud buzzing sound so we didn't use that. Talking, laughing and good times. We made it to Merriweather by 5:00. "Follow the guys wearing black! They know where they're going at concerts!" haha. So I called Tiffany who was there with her boyfriend David since 3:00. They line was ridiculously long and we wouldn't have been able to get so close as we did without them. We waited in line for 90 minutes. Melanie saw her friend Irene. Chris ran our cameras to the car because they were taking them away if you tried to bring them in. Some kid was poking at a venomous water snake. Not a smart idea. And Justin and I played rock paper scissors slap. Which was fun. He flicked me in the head, haha. As they began to open up the gates Kelly flew through and between people, and I was just holding on for dear life to keep up with her. No one was keeping her from Gerard Way, =P. Soon as they tore our ticket stubs we made a mad dash for the amphitheater. The pit wasn't open which was really disappointing so we were diving over seats to get as close as we could. We had sat down for about a minute and then they finally did open the pit. It was another mad dash to get pit armbands so we could get in. Kelly and Melanie ended up right in front of me and everyone else was right behind me. We were practically front stage. So began the hour long wait until the show started.

Muse was freaking amazing! They opened with Knights of Cydonia. The set list was New Born, Knights of Cydonia, Starlight, Map of the Problamatique, Invincible, Stockholm Syndrome and BUTTERFLIES AND HURRICANES!! They actually played it! It made me so happy. It's one of my favorite songs of all time. Matt Bellamy is an amazing musician. He plays the piano as well as guitar, and ridiculously well. Here is a video of his solo in Butterflies and Hurricanes. Knights of Cydonia was even more epic than the studio version. Matt played the Mirror Manson guitar and his crazy screen guitar which name I currently forget. The one that makes sound by waving his hand over it. Also the wind was blowing when he was doing knights. So when he did his epic screaming his hair was blowing in the wind. It was too perfect. O god it was amazing. However people are ass holes. There were a bunch of guys brawl dancing. Which is extreme moshing for those who don't know. The pit was so full there was no room to move at all. If you moved you rubbed up against three people in front or behind you at least. People were moving like waves. When someone moved ten people got pushed and knocked over. It was making me really angry. My friends were being pushed all over the place. This one fat kid thought it was funny to throw himself at everyone and push forward. So while he was swinging his arms to get in front he got to me, Kelly and Melanie. He wouldn't stop after I had pushed him off about 30 times so I backhanded him in the ear. His friend yelled something at me and made a fist, and I just glared at her and said that's good for you. They actually backed off and started bothering people further down (phew). Muse was a constant battle with the moshers. I was being pushed back so finally I dropped back a little to help David defend tiffany and all the other people behind us. We became the barrier between the moshers. I was getting pretty pissed. I knocked some guy in the back of the head to keep him from barreling through me into tiffany and whoever else was still behind me.

"Come one come all to this tragic affair!" Once MCR came on the pit settled. They were freaking AMAZING! They played straight through the Black Parade CD and never broke character. They had incredible stage presence and switched up the lyrics and always had the crowd join in on things. Pointing the mic, asking us to do things. He sung with us, not at us. Throughout the concert I was gradually making my way back up to the front with Kelly and Melanie. As people were crowd surfed off, I took the extra when the crowd shifted. Eventually I had made my way back up there but Melanie was was gradually shifted off in another direction. She was within arm-stretched high-five distance though. As the concert went on the pit became more active again. some guy my height and his smaller gothy girlfriend were ramming there way to the front. I pushed him off a couple time and then I yelled at him and he was sorta pissed. I told him I was trying to look out for my friends and then he seemed to settle. We became friends after that, his name was Colin, he was pretty cool. He was looking out for his girl too, and so he eventually backed out from the front. I'm not sure when, may have even been during Muse, but there was this one angry blonde with too much eye shadow and her ugly friend with a preteen mustache look. (must have been 17 though) and they were laughing their asses off punching their way to the front. I pushed and elbowed and shoved this guy off so many times and he was punching my side the whole time. He took a swing at the people in front of me and almost hit Kelly and Melanie so I punched him in the mouth. My hand was pretty bloody by now X_X. I had to shove some other girl who was backing into me for about 15 minutes. Oh and next to me was this one girls raging double-d's of doom. She didn't mean it but she was so crazy it was beating the crap out of me. The crowd surfers came in droves and I blocked a couple feet from colliding with me or the people around me. That's about the worst of it though. I felt chivalress. I made some more friends by sharing soda and ice with people. Justin said I got second looks. Woo! haha. "The Black Parade only has ...twooo songs left. (everyone: awww noo)...then you'll have to deal with the likes of My Chemical Romance! Now if you ask me, which I know you're not, I think their language is atrocious, and they happen to be terrible dressers." hahaha Gerard is funny. Like I said, he never broke character. We got to hear stuff from Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. On stage they celebrated some of their crews birthdays. Some kid said it was her birthday too. "It's your birthday too?! Then get on the fucking stage!!!" oh my god we flipped, some other girl got on stage too. I was trying to flag him down to at least say Hi, but oh well. It was a-freaking-mazing. I love their concerts.

After the last song they bolted out of there, so no encore. We stuck around the barricade and Melanie got the Muse set list. (that's how I listed it above.) They threw a pick and I dropped looking for it. Kelly took about 2 seconds and found it. They threw someones shoe, and I got that. I thought it was Chris' shoe. I think it's a band members? I don't know how I'd find out, nor care. It's in the trunk. Maybe eBay it off or something. I'll figure it out. At this point Chris had to leave and Aysha and Jenna were already gone as well. Tiffany and David stuck around for a little but they needed to leave pretty quick. My ears made everything sound several pitches higher and my voice was scratchy as all hell. I was so beaten up and tired at this point my effort had completely gone. "Come on Kelly were getting you a fucking t-shirt. Pick one, Im going to go stand in line." it was funny though. Got her one and I got me one as well. They had some necklace or pendant but it was sold out. So I got some stickers/buttons instead. Gave her the shirt and found Melanie, who had also just got the same shirt Kelly did. I need to start wearing smaller shirts than I own. I own Large and Extra large because I like baggy, but I'm wearing Medium and it still feels sorta baggy. I'm gonna work out more too. Cuz I'm too skinny I think? I dunno. Anyway my mom was like half an hour away so we went to this field where the drop off zone was and chilled. Everyone else laid down on the grass but I only sat for a little. I had too much energy. Some guys in a golf cart said that if we weren't out of there in 5 minutes they'd have to arrest us. I guess they thought we were smoking or something? Who knows. So my mom shows up in 10 minutes and the security hadn't returned so whatever. We hit a major traffic jam. The left lane was being worked on and someone had broken down in the right lane. They were funneling us through bumper to bumper. My bladder decided it didn't want to wait till we got home so we had to pull over and went to a McDonalds. I scampered around but they refused to let me in and use the bathroom. Ugh, so we went behind a Safeway and there was a path that led into some trees. Turns out it was a neighborhood. Uuuugh. So embarrassing. We tried different jokes and stories on the way home. Kelly and Melanie drifted in and out of sleep. I tried to but the middle seat isn't exactly the most comfortable. Dropped Kelly off first. Stumbled up and walked her to her door, cuz that's what I do. Gave her the buttons and stickers, cuz thats what I do. Returned to the car and tried to sleep. At this point I don't even remember what was said. I remember dropping Melanie off, and then I remember being in our driveway. Just crashed at my house. We talked for awhile. Justin's a really cool person. And then it was off to sleep. Sweet dreams. EDIT: forgot to mention that when I got home I found out my shins were bloody. I kept using my feet to barricade people back and they kicked and stepping all over my legs. It's cool though. It just makes the concert more epic =P

So it was a great day. I doubt any of you even read half of that. But if you did, I'll give you candy. EDIT: (or cookies)

Oh and Abby! [Mission: Failure] but I'm not dead yet. Neeeed to talk to you though.

Peace

    <lj:music>Optimistic - Kajiura Yuki</lj:music>

Tides drift in and out, like clockwork, underwater out of water. Water over time wears down stone.

There's something about me that refuses to ever give up. Once my mind is set I do whatever it takes to get it done. Because there is something I must do. I wonder sometimes if giving up would make me a smarter or stronger man. Sometimes dreams must be forgotten and reality accepted.

Somewhere I refuse to believe that I could be a lost cause. There are so many different people and places and things, that I refuse to take any risks. I never give up but I'm scared to take risks. I worry that I would ruin something, or in any way make things worse. That or I never begin to try in the first place. I shove things off before I start so I never have to give up on something. I can already see their outcome anyway.

But deep down I know I've already failed. It seems that with every person there's another reason to almost not be. Distance, unsure, even another guy. And every time I seem to fall just too short. I should just give up while I'm ahead. It doesn't matter what girl it is, once they've known you long enough, your in the friends zone, they just don't like you or what other hundred reasons there could be, it's a lost cause.

It doesn't matter if it feels right. Nothing matters even if you click well together. Cuz I know deep down that once that wall is put up, you can only get so close. Close enough to almost feel it, but there's no getting past it. I know somewhere that things just won't work out the way you want them to.

Somewhere I refuse to believe that I could be a lost cause. That what I know is true can change. That what we know is always changing. We come to understandings about different aspects of our life. They always seem to change. Even when we come to an understanding that seems so flawless, it changes and continues until we reach another new and greater understanding. Life constantly changes so our understanding must also change.

I'm going to keep trying even if it breaks me. I can learn to take those risks and push forward. The more you open your heart to love the more you leave it open to hurt. I keep mine closely shut to avoid hurting myself or someone else. I know turning down someone is no fun either.

I won't give up. I'll learn to be more confident. I'll learn to say what I feel. I'm a hopeless romantic, I shouldn't bury it. I'll learn to judge when it's the right time for something, rather than never doing it at all. Maybe I'll even learn a sense of fashion someday. But I won't get ahead of myself.

I don't want to give up.

"I cannot give up. Because there is something I must do."

    <lj:music>Apocalypse Please - Muse</lj:music>

Well that was quite strange. This week in AP Psych we have been learning about anxiety and phobia's. Things like anxiety attacks. So last night I think I had one. It was sort of scary, and just like she said I began to attribute it to different things instead of just saying "I'm having a panic attack." I was fine and just sorta sitting at my computer then it hit me from no where. It's still sorta freaking me out. I had muscle spasms and irregular breathing, aside from just flipping out. It only lasted like 3 minutes but damn.

Anyway MCR and Muse in only 10 days, and possibly Paramore the day after.

Stay awesome, peace.

    <lj:music>Bliss - Muse</lj:music>

First of all I am quite angry that LJ ate this entry and this is the second time I'm writing it.

Well spring break was good. Let's recap shall we?

Day 1 (Friday)
Billy was leaving for Myrtle Beach so we went to see him off by having dinner with him at Old Country Buffet. Sean and I got there about 10 minutes after Billy, John Arnold, and Monty. Eugene showed up at the very end. Billy filled an entire plate with chocolate and vanilla soft-served ice-cream and topped it with every topping for ice-cream they had. He was about two thirds through it before I attacked it with pepper to prevent him from going into diabetic arrest. Billy got me back by having the restaurant announce Erin and Sean's anniversary. Har dee har har. It was actually pretty funny though. Afterwards we visited Justin Robb where he works at IHOP.

Day 2 (Saturday)
Harry and Wilson came over for some much needed chill time. Games, Food, being ridiculous. Stayed up late and they crashed over here.

Day 3 (Sunday)
Woke up late and did more of the same. In the evening we celebrated passover. My uncle Vic came over. He's cool, so good times. Harry and Wilson crashed another night.

Day 4 (Monday)
Woke up late again and Abner came to visit. I don't get to see him outside of school often so that was cool. Talked about things, watched youtube stuff. Wound down a bit from Harry and Will, though they were still over. Everyone was gone by 8 and I was left to recharge.

Day 5 (Tuesday)
Didn't wake up as late. Went to hang out with Abby at her house with Eskin and a bunch of Abby's friends. Started off upstairs and I messed around on her piano while most of them played DDR. More people showed up so we migrated to her basement where I was recruited for grunt work and shuffled televisions around. Didn't mind so much because I was the only guy and all *cougheskinanddavidcough*. DDR continued and I only joined in for a few songs. Then we plugged in Guitar Hero and did that for a while. Talked to Eskin mostly. We ordered Chinese food, which reminds me that I need to pay Eskin back. Gone by 8 and home to recharge.

Day 6 (Wednesday)
Woke up late and stayed home all day with time to myself. Practiced my piano, read some, wrote some, browsed the internet. I didn't go a party which actually ended up not happening anyway. Home to recharge.

Day 7 (Thursday)
Woke up late and had a repeat of the day before. In the evening I went over to Sean's and from there we went to eat at Red Robin and caught Blade's of Glory. I didn't expect it to be that funny. I thought it all went down hill after Anchorman but it was really good. If you liked Anchorman or Talladega Nights go see Blades of Glory. All of you, go watch it, now, as in, why are you still reading this and not at the theater.

Day 8 (Friday)
Woke up really late. Like 1 o'clock. Went and finally got my permit, woo! Ran into Sean while I was there and he got his license. He hung out here for a little but drove himself home pretty quickly, extorting his new privileges. He left at 5 or so and I just stayed home and recharged. I'll be on the roads soon enough. HAHAHAHAHA! *evil laugh*

Day 9 (Saturday)
Woke up early compared to Friday. I wanted to go out to grab a few movies but I ended up being pulled into a day of errands. Went to the bank and cashed about $800. Took $200 to buy myself a new monitor.

The extra cash put me at enough to complete Operation Sub Zero, Abby! For those of you not in on the inside joke, that means Aaron will be going on a cruise this summer along with Abby. That's right, I'll be in the sun on a huge boat with infinite food, entertainment, and relaxation. Did I mention women? It's a cruise, am I wrong? jealousy ensues.

Back to Saturday. From there we went to Blockbuster and I picked up Grandma's Boy, Hostel, and The Illusionist. We went to Pets-Mart for a little while and then to the grocery store. Picked up some snacks and then I realized I had to feed other people that night. So Aaron's gonna be sweet and get her favorite Caesar Salad thing. I knew she liked some Caesar salad with the dressing packet, so I thought it was some sort of brand. So I'm running around the salad area looking for something like this, having not a clue what it is I'm actually looking for, while my mom is already in the check out line. It says KITS on like every bag in soft white. Ha yeah stupid me. Then we drop the groceries at home and put them away and rush back out to Comp USA. They're closing down so they're having this big sale, liquidating everything. Their prices still bit. We were there for about half an hour looking for something worth picking up but it really wasn't worth it. If they drop prices lower I'll go, but all this really did was put them on par with everyone else, and theres no in store warranty because they're closing.

So I'm home and then Kelly shows up, so we're talking for a little and I go to get the movies. Aaron was pretty stupid today. The salad was one thing, but this is just WOW. I left the movies at Blockbuster. So she decided to play video games with my brother while I left frantically to blockbuster and back. I got back and we got punished in some video game my brother plays for a little while and finished cooking the dinner I had started for us earlier. My mother gave me the instructions so I don't remember what it was called but it was chicken with some herbs and spices and stuff. Also made a quesadilla and her salad.

After enjoying some Top Cat and Spongebob we migrated downstairs and watched Grandma's Boy. It was entertaining enough, it had virtually no plot though. "Did Sophie die in the bed?" "No....she rolled out of bed and died on the floor right there." It was funny at the time. Hostel refused to work in the PS2 so we went back upstairs. Luckily for me my Grandma went down to her room and Alex had locked himself in the computer room. It had such a ridiculous set up. The movie was half an hour of softcore porn and then they just start torturing people. It was weird. The story wasn't half bad but ridiculous movie none the less. It wasn't until 11 that we started The Illusionist. I really enjoyed that movie. I won't spoil any of it for you.

It was a really fun day. I enjoy spending time her, I don't get to see her that often. Which reminds me that I'm going to see My Chemical Romance and Muse on the 27th. Chris, Melanie, Kelly, Aysha, Jenna, and I. Possibly others. Anyway, we drove her home and saw her to her door...went home to recharge.

Day 10 (Sunday)
Woke up at 1 again. At 3 we went up to Harry's because my family was invited to Easter dinner. They're un-religious about it so it was alright. Yay Jewish! They're half Jewish. Anyway so we did the eggs for Lucas which was fun. Then Willson showed up and we had dinner. Left around 9 and went home by 10 to have Billy over from Myrtle Beach and Bobby. I ended up watching Grandma's Boy again. Much talking, exchanging stories. Spring Break feels much longer than a week when you haven't seen someone all break.

Day 11 (Monday)
Woke up at 10 and after being lazy and talking for an hour we started the illusionist. That movie I didn't mind so much seeing again. Bobby had to leave mid movie and Billy had to miss a party because of the lack of rides. But we had chill time and it was much needed. We also figured out that Billy, Bobby, Mike, Barry, and I are the Knights of Camelot. The Monty Python variety. We're have that all figured out soon enough. Billy left for School of Rock but later Sean decided to surprise me with a visit and brought Sarah Mckay along too. I ended up having to watch Grandma's Boy again. Tired of that movie now. He left at 8 and that's pretty much it.

(Terrible Tuesday)
Back at school and already teachers are in full swing. That's life. I had a pretty good break I think. Leave comments! They don't even need to be relevant!

I have an incredibly over active imagination, which is partly why when I say something and I get it, but it comes out weird to everyone else? Because I see it in my head and well alot of times I say things before I remember no one else can see that <_<. The whole idea of traveling to new places with friends, trying to protect and save someone, and every characteristic syaoran is was what i wanted to be even before TRC. He's like me! in theory form! Maybe that's why I like the story so much. Been catching up with the manga lately. READ IT. Hung out with someone practically every day.

Wednesday I hung out with Billy and Bobby, and literally as they were leaving, MoCo called off school thursday so Bill crashed here.

Thursday I went up to Cici's with Bill and Tony, Sean and Bismut. Tony and Sean stayed here a little but I kicked them out cuz it was my Mom's birthday.

Friday I was called towards the evening for some quick Cici's and back to Bobby's house with Bill. Mike Maiatico showed up too. I hadn't seen Mike in a while so that was cool. And we talked about a bunch of things and we went to the ice field. Yes ice field. You know those big open fields where they have the power lines? Completely solid and flat. We foot skated down there and some other kids had the same idea. Good times. Crashed at Bill's and watched Lost In Translation

Saturday I went over to Adam Irwin's with Chris Haller. Watched TV, played games and YouTube.

Sunday went back to chris' for a little bit but then back home to hang out with Brian.

Monday Brian was here till 5 then I did the homework that I should have done for Wednesday.

The End
